Pre-requisite – you must have a minimum 6 month wait since completion of a Level 2. Cost is $175 and includes course materials.

Workshop – Working with the TTRP Workbook – August 2018 – will be a weekend afternoon from 1:00 – 5:00 pm in Ladner Cost: $45

Are you new to working with the Therapeutic Touch Recognized Practitioner (TTRP) workbook or looking to start?  This workshop was developed to provide an experiential afternoon exploring what’s involved in becoming a TTRP. Also helpful if you are part way through the process and looking for more direction and support with documentation.

Therapeutic Touch Practitioner Certificate Program through Langara College

Therapeutic Touch Practitioner Certificate Information Session – September 18, 2018, 6:00 pm

Register for any of the following courses through Langara College, Continuing Studies at 604-323-5322. Registration is now open for all courses.

All Langara College Therapeutic Touch courses, with the exception of Therapeutic Touch Mentorship, will now be held at the Main Campus, 100 W. 49th Avenue in Vancouver, room A215.

Level 1 – Saturday and Sunday, September 22 & 23, 10 – 5:00 pm both days

Level 2 – Saturday and Sunday, October 27 & 28, 10 – 5:00 pm both days

Level 3 – Saturday and Sunday, November 17 & 18, 10 – 5 pm both days

Therapeutic Touch Mentorship –The next intake is July 7th. The dates will be July 7, Sept. 8, October 13, November 3, and December 1, 2018 and January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, 2019. Register by Friday, June 15th.

Therapeutic Touch Mentorship Winter 2019 –The next intake is November 3, 2018. The dates will be November 3, and December 1, 2018 and January 5, February 2, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1, July 6, September 7, October 5, 2019. Register by Friday, October 5th.

This is a one-year program supporting your Therapeutic Touch learning. This course includes regular instruction and many opportunities to practice Therapeutic Touch, including supervised sessions, which count towards your Recognized Practitioner Status. Prerequisite: Therapeutic Touch Level 1 and membership in BC Therapeutic Touch Network Society (BCTTNS).

As part of this course, Therapeutic Touch Mentorship students offer Therapeutic Touch sessions at hospitals and health care facilities throughout the Lower Mainland.

The Art of Self-Compassion

Learn what self-compassion really means, examine your self-talk, learn techniques to assist you to be more self-compassionate, and see what the research is showing us. This is a great course for anyone interested in maintaining balance and preventing burnout. It is a must for anyone pursuing their own self-growth and development.

Continuing Explorations – Will start September 8  (with dates September 8, October 13, November 3, December 1)

Continuing Explorations is open to those that have completed the Therapeutic Touch Mentorship course or those that are Therapeutic Touch Recognized Practitioners (TTRP). 

Note: Therapeutic Touch Levels 1, 2, and 3, and The Art of Self-Compassion, taught by Cheryl Larden, may count towards continuing education and are approved for continuing education credits by some health care and other organizations including Consumer Protection Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
